It also marked the first time that record scratching had been actually recorded on a record.

I enjoyed listening to this. It's funny because I'm sitting in the library watching it & no matter what it makes you wanna bob your head.. I think it would have been really hot though if it had an actual video to it.. Maybe if there were a bunch of break dancers or bboys or something. Super Crew should totally hit this up!

Listening to Grandmaster Flash mixing felt like deja vu...why you ask. Its because my pops use to kill that song Good Times when he was a Dj(he's currently retired, but stil a Dj @ heart}. At times, he would have Good Times playing on both turn tables and just mix the two simultaneously.Awwww man, those were the good old days
Flash has some skills though!!!!!!

yoyoyo its steve, i heard the work, and I've got to say, its real good. but me being so used to hearing vocals accompanied to music, i felt like there was something missing. But i could definitely imagine being at a party with this blasting out of the speakers, and random guys busting out into dance moves. and hey, speaking of parties.....
